Route 66: Day Four

I think sometimes you need to stop for a few minutes, and look at what’s around you. Realize, that life is short, and that at any moment your world could turn upside down. Most people don’t do that. They go on as if nothing will really change and that things will be just fine. The sun will rise tomorrow. On April 19, 1995, Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Downtown Oklahoma City was blown up. One minute it was there, the next minute it was gone. People going about their day as usual, and then suddenly…they are not there anymore.

Today I saw the Oklahoma City National Memorial. A very serene place.
Made me give pause and think about the people I love.

I took a few photos today, and thought I’d share them with you.
